Shopping

This weekend, I went shopping. I bought shoes and clothes. I satisfied with the shopping. When it was lunch time, I went to afternoon-tea. I ate pasta lunch. The ice tea was so good! I was moved by it! After finished shopping, I had part-time job. It wasn't busy. After that, I cooked dinner. So, last saturday, I met my friend long time no see! We went to Izakaya at downtown. We talked about Job hunting, our future, and so on! I enjoyed the time very much. I could relax this weekend. (91 words)

Something special I did during vacation

I went to Minessota for a month. It was a precious time for me. It was the first time I went to overseas, so I was very nervous. But soon, I could get used to life in America.
On weekdays, I went to Bethel University. We studied American culture, education, weddings and so on. We also met people from different races. Thriugh this, I felt diversity of America. Another day, we went shopping. I liked Target and Mall of America. Also we went to see historic buildings. I liked the best St.Paul Cathedral.There was so beautiful and holiness.
On weekends, I spend s time with Host family. We went to summer festival and their a son and a daughter's house. They were so kind. They let hold party in their house. I played with grand child, she was so cute. We did a lot of things.For example,cooking dinner, taking a dog for a walk, and watching movies, TV. I could have second family in America. I'd like to value this relationship forever. This summer is the most fan for me.(178 words)

Good and bad points about summer

Firstly I talk about good points of Summer. There are a lot of festival during summer. We can eat various foods of stall. Especially, I like Kakigouri and crape. Kakigouri can't eat only summer time. Also I like to watch fireworks in festival. It is so beautiful.Aerial fireworks are a feature of summer in Japan. More than anything, I can have a long vacation. Summer vacation is the longest in vacation.
However Summer is too hot. It' s so muggy in Kumamoto's summer. It is hard for me.
Then, we get sunburned. Because I am easy to get burn, I don't like summer.

How I study during the vacation

I am going to go to Minnesota during summer vacation, so I have to speak English all day. On weekdays, I will go to local university. So in school,we will learn American culture and history. Of course, we are going to go shopping. I am looikng forward to go Mall of America. There is the biggest shopping mall in America. On weekends, we will spend a time with host family. We will plan to go a lot of places. That's why I think I have a good opportunite for improving my English skill. I'd like to speak English actively and don' t afraid mistake!(104 words)

What classes I will take

I will take 10 classes this semester. I will take three classes of laungage(English, Korean, French). It will be so hard, but I aim to master all launguages. In addition, I failed writing 4. So I will get credit this time. I think seminar is the hardest subject in my classe, because I have to write report with English. Futhermore, I take a overseas training for a year. I have to write a report with English and 1000 words. This semester must immerse in English.
On the other hand, I can't wait to take Business English. I'd like to work using Englis, so I'm interested in this class. (108 words)

vacation plans

This summer, I am going to go to Minnesota for one month. I will live with Mrs. patten. They live only two people. They have two children, jason and Johanna. Jason got married with jessica. They have one child Elah. Elah is nine months years old. Johanna live with her boyfriend John, and she has bulldog. The dog name is sally.Mrs.Patten also have cat and dog. Cat's name is Oscar, and Dog's name is Kingko. Oscar get fat. He is big cat. Kingo came to their house recently. He is golden retriever. I am looking forward to meet them. I went to Fukuoka in order to meet my friends. First, we went to eat lunch. We ate Okinawa soba. It was good. After that, we went shopping. I bought 1 clothe and cosmetics. At night, we went to Izakaya. At there we meet again former part time job's worker. I have worked at Macdonard 4 years ago. Their look changed, but they were kind same before. Self Introduction

I was born in Oita, Japan on January 12; 1991.I am twenty years old now. I lived for fifteen years in there. My family is five members. I am youngest child in three sisters. We live in the city.Now, I live in Kumamoto with my sister. She goes to Kumamoto prefectural university, so we live in near there.
I go to Kumamoto Gakuen University. Now, I am second grade. I belong to department of English, so I want to speak English fluently.
Next, I introduce to my friends. My best friend is Arisa. She lives in Oita now. She is so funny and kind. When I come back Oita, I always play with her. I met her, when I was elementary school student, so I have been good friend for 8 years. Now, I live apart from her, but she is special friend for me! In Kumamoto, I am always a group of five. They are kind and individual. So, they are good company! Finally, I talk to about my interests. I have a lot of interests! First of all, I like to watch movies, so I often go to movie theatre in my free time. I like Wednesday, because it can watch movie in 1000 yen only women. Secondly, I also like to listen to music. Especially, I like foreign music. These days, I am absorbed in Lady GAGA. She has beautiful voice and is so individual. I like EXILE too. They are cool and good pefomer. They is good for dancing and singing. They are perfect! Thirdly, I like to read book. I read Japanese novels very well. (270 words)

I think it is better to live with my parents, because I don’t feel lonely, and I can do without homework, so I can devote myself to study.

I think it is better to live with my parents.

I feel it is better to do a part-time job, because I can know society. It is so useful when I become a working member of society.

5. Would you prefer to live in a traditional tatami room or a western style room?

I prefer to live in western room, because I live in western room now. So, it is make me calm down, but I like tatami room too.

6. Should students pay part of our tuition fees to instead of their parents paying for costs?

I think it depends. If the house suffers from severe economic conditions, I should pay my tuition, but if the parents have leeway of money, they can pay tuition fees.(233 words)

Kumamoto

I introduce food in Kumamoto.
Basashi is typical food in Kumamoto. It is eaten raw, because it has not strong aroma.
People of Kumamoto eat it with soy of garlic. It contains a lot of iron and protein. In Kumamoto, the food is available on supermarket.
In addition, Kumamoto is famous for water is delicious because it is purveying by ground water.
Karashi Renkon is made from Renkon. The recipe is that stuff Renkon hole with mustard.
After that, deep-fry them. Ikinari Dango is staple dissert in Kumamoto. It wraps up bean paste and sweet potato in rice dumpling, and is steamed. It owes the name to Kumamoto dialect. In Kumamoto, when they say “Ikinari”, it means “soon” in English.Since they could cook it soon for arrival of unexpected guests, it was named Ikinari Dango.
And, speaking of gain popularity among young people, it is Kumamoto Ramen.
Kumamoto has a lot of Ramen shop. It is popular shop that Kiyomasa Ramen, Kokutei, Ajisen Ramen, Keika Ramen. Kumamoto Ramen is characterized by pork bone broth and garlic, and Tyubuto noodle. But, the taste is different from each shop, so I recommend going a lot of shops!
Finally, I talked about famous souvenir in Kumamoto. Jindaiko and Mushagaeshi are sweet that using bean paste. It is loved by a lot of people. There is Kumamoto’s leading souvenir!
If you don’t like sweet food, I recommend Taipiien. It is Chinese food which is Kumamoto-born. In a simple term, it is bean-starch vermicelli soup. Since it becomes a part of life in Kumamoto, It is served in school lunches. Nowadays, the food can buy in super market.
As just described, Kumamoto’s food is delicious and broad based. If your acquaintance comes to Kumamoto, please get to local dishes store! It’s good bet that will be pleased. (293 words)

5. Where would you like to go if you could travel tomorrow by yourself?
I want to go France and Korea, because I study them now. I am interested both countries. I imagine France as fashionable countries. If I can go to there, I want to go a lot of art museums and café! I want to eat various French foods.
Then, I imagine Korea as food is very good. I don’t like hot food much, but I want to eat real taste. Also, prices are low than Japan, so I want to go shopping many things

6. What are you the most important aspects in preparing for an overseas trip?
It is the most important thing to check the countries. Checking the country, I can enjoy the trip so much. In addition to that, if the country is dangerous, we must do any measure. So, I think that it is the most important thing.

7. Where would you like to go if you could travel tomorrow with your family?
I want to go Hawaii, because there are a lot of beautiful beach. I want to swim there with my family. I hear that there is a lot of Japanese, so I think that there is safe than another country.

8. Why or why not is your answer to question 5 different from question 7? Why or why not?
Since I think that Hawaii can enjoy a lot of people than alone, it is different from each question (241 words/6402words)

Best friends

My best friend is Arisa. She lives in Oita. She go to junior college in Oita.
Her appearance is fair, slender, and cute. She likes to play with friend and shopping. Her good points are funny, kind, talk very well, and not shy.
We met in elementary school, but we didn't close friend then.We entered same junior high school and same club, so we became close friend since then. I used to be backing home with her, and we talked a lot of thing. We went to another high school each other, but we often played. Finally, we entered same part-time job place! I made many friends in there, and they are treasure for me.

It was the best memorable experience that went to Tokyo with her.
First, I went to Harajyuku and Shibuya. There were a lot of people! We went to many shops and bought a lot of clothes.
Second day, I went to seeing play. It was first for me.
The play was about ghost story. Because it was about three hour, I felt sleepy.
The last day, we went to Tokyo Disney Land. There was dreamland for us.
We took a lot of attraction and we enjoyed the time.

We live away now, but we are close friend. I think get along with her from now on.(213words)

Twenty

I became twenty at January 12th. But It hasn't hit me yet. that day, I ate cake with my older sister. I bought it at Swiss. It was delicious. Of course I drank alchol! The day was happy for me.
And, I think that can do for twenty. First, twenty can drink alchol. Second, the age must pay annual pension. It need not to ask parents' permission to travel and what to do. I guess twenty is freedom, but I must have great responsibilities sponsibilities for myself.
At twenty, I aim at nice person. I want to be beautiful and clever. I think I will improve my English skill. And, I am going to go foreign countries. At summer vacation, I will go to America. I can't wait to go there. Also, I want to go in Japan. I have curious about Hokkaido. There is a lot of delicious foods and beautiful nature. I never gone to there, I keen to travel there someday. Coming of age ceremony

At January 9th was coming of age ceremony! Because I drank too much the day before, I couldn't go to bed three hours. So, I got up 5 a.m. and I fixed up and set my hair. It took about three hours. Kimono was labored. And I went to photo studio. It took picture in memory of putting on Kimono. After that I went to my grand father's house. I also took picture with grandparents. Grandparents gave me celebration. At 12p.m. I attended coming of age ceremony of Oita city. Near the venue, I took picture with my friends of highschool and junior high school. There were a lot of people. After that, I took place ceremony of my area. There were a lot of rare sight. Everyone almost changed. They became grown-up. Moreover, I could meet teachers who age of Junior high school student. They didn't really changed. Because I like them, I was glad to meet them again! At night, It took place a junior high school reunion. We ate Yakiniku and drank alchol. I felt nostalgic. I thought that want to back this age. I spoke a lot of class mates. Because I got tired, I got home at 11p.m. And, I went to bed as soon as possible!
Coming of age ceremony held many memories. If it chance to put on Kimono, I want to put on it again! (233 words)

New Years Day

January 1st, I spend at Kumamoto , because I would go back to Oita, I couldn't go back there because of snow. Ofcouse, I went back to next day. And I went to my grandfather's house. I ate New Year's food made by grand mother. Her dishes is always good, so I ate too much. Next day, I went to downtown for the first day of business. I got my mother to buy clothes. I satisfied with this shopping. The follwing day, I played with friends. We went to local Izakaya. We stayed there about three hours. It was very fun for me! And the next morning, I went back to Kuamamoto for class. (115 words)
