trnsportation

I often use bus in order to go to school and work place. Bus is comfortable, because there is warm and quite. I reading book, listening music in there. Next, I like to ride car. I don’t have car license, so I always ride the seat next to the driver. Car can go to place endlessly. So, I like it. My most favorite transportation is airplane. I thought it is very interesting. I can see scenery from sky. It makes me exciting. Moreover, airplane is fast than other transportation. Of course, another transportation is good too. Train isn’t influenced by weather. Bicycle is easy ride to you. It don’t need special license. Also, bicycle easy to go to near place.(120 words)

The magic School Bas and the Electric Field Trip

This book is written electricity. I felt that as if I really go to power plant. And so, I talk about electricity.
Most power plant use heat to make electricity. they burn fuels such as coal, oil, or natural gus. This good points is fuel-burning plants can make huge amounts of power. On the other hand, bad point is they all make air pollution. Some plants get heat from nuclear reactors. The good point is these make huge amounts of power without air pollution. The bad point is they create nuclear wastes. Back at making electricity, fuel is anything we burn to make energy. Dump truck tipped up, and trumbling down the coal chute. Overhead there was a metal pipe with water in it. The fire was making the water boil. And the boiling water was turning into steam. The steam was travelling at high speed. It is through the pipe and into the next room in the power plant. There was only one thing in the room- an enormous machine called a tribine. It had blades like a fan, and when the steam pushed on the blades, the the turbine spun around. The turbine made a mental shaft spin, too. It spun around the shaft and slid along to the next part of the power plant. The shaft led it to the generator- the part of the plant that actually makes electricity. This generator was really big. On the outside were coils of wire. On the inside was a magnet. The shaft turned the magnet, and the moving magnet made electric current run in the wire. Next the electrons got smaller. On the way it passed transforms, devices that made the voltage in the higher or lower. Higher voltage helps the current travel the long distance from the plant to the places that will use the electricity. Lower voltages are used in small buildings and homes.

Pride and Prejudice

"This famous novel by Jane Austen is full of wise and humorus observation of the people and manners of her times".
I read Pride and Prejudice. This novel is made into a movie many times. But I have not ever seen it, so I tried to read this novel. The main character is Elizabeth Bennet. The Bennet is family of seven, father and mother, and five sisters. Elizabeth is second girl of five sisters.
Her mother gave daughters to marry as soon as possible. Just then, wealthy young man moves into next door.His name is Bingly. Later, he get together oldest daughter Jane. Mrs Bennet hold ball. In there, Elizabeth meets Mr Darcy. She hate him because he insulted her. Moreover, Mr Darcy had much pride. One day, they meet again. Then, she cleared up some misunderstandings for him. They become attracted to each other. Finally,they get over pride and prejudice, and get married.
The story was very comlicated, but it is of interest to me that they understand eachother over time. (170 words)

5. Where would you like to go if you could travel tomorrow by yourself?
I want to go France and Korea, because I study them now. I am interested both countries. I imagine France as fashionable countries. If I can go to there, I want to go a lot of art museums and café! I want to eat various French foods.
Then, I imagine Korea as food is very good. I don’t like hot food much, but I want to eat real taste. Also, prices are low than Japan, so I want to go shopping many things

6. What are you the most important aspects in preparing for an overseas trip?
It is the most important thing to check the countries. Checking the country, I can enjoy the trip so much. In addition to that, if the country is dangerous, we must do any measure. So, I think that it is the most important thing.

7. Where would you like to go if you could travel tomorrow with your family?
I want to go Hawaii, because there are a lot of beautiful beach. I want to swim there with my family. I hear that there is a lot of Japanese, so I think that there is safe than another country.

8. Why or why not is your answer to question 5 different from question 7? Why or why not?
Since I think that Hawaii can enjoy a lot of people than alone, it is different from each question (241 words)

I prefer to live in western room, because I live in western room now. So, it is make me calm down, but I like tatami room too.

6. Should students pay part of our tuition fees to instead of their parents paying for costs?

I think it depends. If the house suffers from severe economic conditions, I should pay my tuition, but if the parents have leeway of money, they can pay tuition fees.(233 words)

I like to read manga,because it is makes me exciting. The best interesting manga is for me "One-Piece". The story is about pirates. Luffy want to be a No.1 pirates in the world. So, he begin to gather traveling friends. Luffy first met Zoro. He aim at the strongest sword man. He isvery cool,because he is calm and man of few words. But when he fights with sword, he is very strong. He always uses three swords. Luffy thinks he must be the strongest swordman,so Luffy decided to join friend. Next, they bagan to find out cook.Luffy is very glutton, so he wanted to eat good dishes. Then they met Sanji. He is cook of restaurant on the sea. Luffy persuade him to join friend, and he understood. After that, they find out good mate. Then they met Nami. She was thief originally. Moreover she don't really like pirates, because her mother was killed by pirates. But through one case, she decided to join thier friend. And, they increase friends such as doctor, historian, maintenance of ship, and musician. They are so individual. One-Piece is very interesting and moving comics! (191 words)

Self introduction

I was born in Oita, Japan on January 12; 1991.I am twenty years old now. I lived for fifteen years in there. My family is five members. I am youngest child in three sisters. We live in the city.Now, I live in Kumamoto with my sister. She goes to Kumamoto prefectural university, so we live in near there.
I go to Kumamoto Gakuen University. Now, I am second grade. I belong to department of English, so I want to speak English fluently.
Next, I introduce to my friends. My best friend is Arisa. She lives in Oita now. She is so funny and kind. When I come back Oita, I always play with her. I met her, when I was elementary school student, so I have been good friend for 8 years. Now, I live apart from her, but she is special friend for me! In Kumamoto, I am always a group of five. They are kind and individual. So, they are good company! Finally, I talk to about my interests. I have a lot of interests! First of all, I like to watch movies, so I often go to movie theatre in my free time. I like Wednesday, because it can watch movie in 1000 yen only women. Secondly, I also like to listen to music. Especially, I like foreign music. These days, I am absorbed in Lady GAGA. She has beautiful voice and is so individual. I like EXILE too. They are cool and good pefomer. They is good for dancing and singing. They are perfect! Thirdly, I like to read book. I read Japanese novels very well. (270 words)

My favorite music and musicians

My favorite musics are J-pop, K-pop, and western music. l like the best EXILE in japanese musician. They are consist of fourteen members. Their name is HIRO, MATSU, USA, MAKIDAI, AKIRA, ATSUSHI, TAKAHIRO, SHOUKICHI, NESMITH, TETSUYA, KEIJI, KENCHI, NAOKI, and NAOTO. They are separated dancer and singer. Mainly, ATSUSHI and TAKAHIRO sing a song, but sometimes SHOUKICHI and NESMITH sing. They have beautiful voice. When they sing a song, the rest of members dance around them. Their dance is so dynamic. Last December, I went to their concert. I was fascinated their performance. Next I' ll talk about BIG BANG. They are korean musician, but they have already debuted in Japan. They consist of 5 members. They can not only sing but also dance. In addition, their fashion is individual. They entertain audience various fields. I have never gone to their concert, so I want to go their concert in the near future. Finally I will talk about Lady gaga. She is known around the world. I like her music and lyric written by her. Her voice makes me cheer up. I like ”born this way ”the most in her songs. I knew the mean of lyric recently. I was so impressed. I expect her success in the future.(209 words)

Advice for next year's student

I think that writing for second grade is very hard. You should write blog regularly and send typing homework every week. In addition, you have to write book review. There are many English books in the library. Difficult book make you lose energy. So you should select your favorite genre. Like this, you have a lot of homework, so I recommend that get an early start on everything. In doing so, you must come easy. 

 If you will be failed writing Ⅳclass, it's harder than ever to get credit. Because you have what must to do at third grade. Firstly, you will start job hunting at third grade. It is tough than I thought. You would rather get credit at second grade than put off writing Ⅳ at third grade. You also have to take zeminar. It is technical study. You will have various works between school and other things. So I advise to you getting credit within second grade.

 But writing blog is good for you. The reason is you need to look up unknowing words. So you can increase your vocabulary. Besides you can learn how to use computer. You have to use computer in this class. If you are not good at using computer, you must improve your computer skill. I also not good at using it, but I think improve my computer skill thanks to this class.  You also have a chance to watch movie. Maybe you never watched it. The movie is never seen before movie, but it is funny. So you don't get comfortable. The class is heavy, but you will find out something new by writing class such as mistakes in grammar, new expression in English and so on.  Finally, I hope you can take credit of writing class and improve your English skill.　Good luck studying! (305 words)

Sports playing and watching

 I used to played softball in junior high school. I liked to play it. I covered center, and I was lead-off batter. The hardest thing was running uphill until over off season. We didn't practice with ball in off season. So I didn't feel happy. On the other hand, I like having a game the best. I was so pleased to hit a home run from strong pitcher. We took third place in a prefecture tournament only once. We never been strong, but we made me my best. Thanks to participated in club, I got physical and mental strength. I like not only playing sports but also watching one. Especially I like to watch soccer, volley ball, baseball, and figure skating. I almost watch Japanese game. I like Honda Keisuke in them. They are more and stronger every year. I am looking forward to 2014 FIFA world cup. When it comes to soccer, when Nadesico Japan became number one FIFA world cup, I watched the game. I was moved by them because they stayed course over finished game. Sport move people, so I like it! (185 words)

Video games

 I used to play video games when I was elementary school student. I liked to play nitendo64. I accepted it as Christmas gift. I often played Mario kart with friends and my sister. I used donkey or kupper in this game. They can blow off other player because they are heavy. I also liked super smash bros.　The game is gathered popular character in computer game. I used Link and Kirby. Link is just string and he has sword. Kirby swallow another character and copy special skill of other characters. So Kirby is so useful. I had played Guitar Hero of wii only one time. I have to play tune with guitar. I had never played guitar, so it was difficult for me. I had played the game at America; Mｙ host family's son was so good. I want to play it if I get another opportunity. Like this I like to play game, but I had played game too much, my eyes went bad. (165 words)

Animal and pets

I don't have pets now, but I had three hamster and gold fish in other times. They were so cute, but they had a short life-span. When they died, I was so sad. If I will have pet in the future, I want to have cat. In the cat, I want to have Scottish Fold. The name came from the English for fold.so their ears are folded. It is so cute.  I also like dog. Dog is smart and I can take a walk with them. I like pug the best in dogs. Pug isn't nice face, but I like the point adversely.  They are snort dog, but I think that's cute! If I could be animal, I want to be giraffe, because they can look at a view from high above. I want to look at world where they are looked. I want to be tiger too. They are called king of all beasts, so I want to be unbeaten.(164 words)

Cold weather

When I was child, I liked cold weather, because I could play in the snow and had chance of having break from school. But I don't like cold weather now. I have a cold constitution, so I feel cold soon. In addition, it is hard for me to get up early at winter. I am not tempted to get out of bed. On the other hand, I like kotatsu because it warm up me. There is nothing better than eating mikan while sit under the katatsu. To solve coldness, I affix hokkairo on my back. Then the coldness let up. I also eat hot meal such as soup and cocoa and nabe. I recommend nabe in winter season. We can eat lots of vegetables and it warm myself. It is good for soaking in the tub for warming me too. But If I soak in the tub for a long time, I might get dizzy.  (157 words)

Where do you eat your lunch?

I almost eat lunch at my house, so I can save money, but if I have lunch at school, I bring a lunch box. But it is not elaborate. I cook one meal for lunch box in the morning, and the other accompanying dishes are leftover from last night's dinner or frozen meals. So it takes hardly any time! When I go shopping with someone, I go to restaurant or cafe for lunch. Once I went to Cafe where I have been on my mind, but it was closed. I was so shocked. I still don't go to there. When I go to downtown, I recommend going to Tatsunoya for lunch. There are three types A to C. I almost order C set, because it come with ramen, fried rice and pudding. By eating it, full stomach. In addition, it is delicious. I also like UCC. The shop is in the first basement at Tsuruya and traffic center. There is delicious waffle. I like to eat it with ice cream. Where are you when you are writing this?

 I almost write this assignment at 14 gokan. There are people who listing music, talking with friend, laughing over PC. Maybe he must watch funny thing. It is cold today so everyone seems to wear warm clothes. This is nice place to write paper, play video with friend. Since here is easy atmosphere than library, we can relax. On the contrary, sometimes here is difficult to concentrate because it is loud. So I don't recommend here if you want to concentrate assignment. My house doesn't connect internet, so I can't do assignment with computer. It is so inconvenience. So I have to definitely do homework at school, but maybe I don't do homework at my house. There are various allurements such as TV, book, bed, and food. I think that I am more suitable school than my house.  Come spring vacation, I don't need to come to school so I will work hard until then. (158 words)

Plans for vacation

In this spring vacation, I am certainly busy, because I am looking for job. In February, I will write 7 entree seats and I’ll participate in some company information session. From March, maybe interview will start. I’ll just have to keep working! Also I will go back Oita of my hometown. I am going to enjoy short rest. I have some plan when I go back there. Firstly, I play with my friend, but they have job, so I hope they are off day. Secondly, I want to meet my grand parents. My grand farther gets sick a lot and my grand mother broke a bone last December, so I am worried about it. Finally, I will write letter for my host family. We keep in touch with each other, but I can't still write letter. So I want to write it during spring vacation. I think that I want to grow up as person by this term.(159 words)

My favoritr high school memory

My favorite high school memory is school trip and daily life. When I was first student, I always played tag at lunch break with my friends. It was very fan. At after school, I often went to Karaoke with my friends. We went to there two days a month. I also would go to MacDonald, because I had part-time job there. I always ate them hamburger, so I got fat. But, I enjoyed working there. I could relate to a lot of nationality people, such as Korean,Mongolian,Chinese,and Malaysian.

I also enjoyed school trip too. We went to Tokyo Disney Land, Sinagawa aquarium, and Asakusa.We played at Tokyo Disney land all day. When we went to Sinagawa aquarium, we watched dolphin show. We were soused water by dolphin, but they were so beautiful. At Asakusa, we ate chanko nabe which made by former grappler. The taste was authentic; of course it was so good. (158 words)

My favorite restaurant

 I like to go to family restaurant. Especially I like Joyful. I like the best chicken doria in their menu. It is cheap and good. But sometimes it is too hot to eat, because I can't eat hot food. There is a drink bar so I can stay there long time. The restaurant has a lot of menu, for example daily lunch special, pasta, snacks, beverage, and alcohol. We can enjoy meal children and all ages. Furthermore after eating, we can eat delicious dessert. There are parfait, cakes, seasonal menu and pancake. I don't eat all menus yet, but I want to eat all menus. I recommend eating strawberry parfait, because It's got plenty of volume. But it fell refreshed, I can eat up it. When you go to there with friend, I recommend French fries and fried burdock. Maybe everyone loves it. Fried gristle is good too. (152 words)

My favorite animal

I like to go to zoo, because I can see all kinds of animal at one time.When I stayed America, I went to Como zoo. We could see animals for free. I first saw flamingoes. They had bright orange body and long beak. Next I saw giraffes. They are tall and slow in action. I entered indoor cage. There are penguin, white bear, and sea otter. They looks tired, because it was summer. At outside, I saw gorrila. They had dangled on the rope. When someone pointed a camera at a gorrila, gorrila hold a pose. I was so suprised and I thought they are clever animal. Not only that there were zebra, pig, birds and so on.Tiger had a tremendous impact despite they slept.Animals make me feel at ease.When I will get married, I have a lots of pet. I want to have cat firstly.Next I want to have dog. (156 words)

New Year's resolution

This year, I have to do job hunting. So I will decide New Year's resolution.
First, needless to say I aim at getting official job offer. I care to work at airline industry.　I will give of my best. Aspects of studying, I care to raise my TOEIC score. I will aim at taking 800 points until graduate school.In addition, I want to speak English better than now.

January 12

The day was my birthday, so I became 21 years old. In the morning, I went to Fukuoka in order to attend seminar. It was benefit from hearing important ideas about the work. After that, I bought cakes in Hakata Hankyu. The cakes had funny shape and color. So I was intrigued by the cakes. But I got tired, I came back Kumamoto as soon as possible.
At the night, I and my sister ate out to korean restaurant. We ate chapche, purukogi, tige. All of them was delicious but a littlt spicy. After that, I bought beverage at starbucks coffee for drinking with cake.
The funny cake was good. I gullted.(112 words)

January 11

I visited Kato shrine at the beginning of the new year with my friend. I made wish to the gods and I was gratful to finish safely last year. Then we draw omikuji. I was shoukichi, but it's not so bad. After that, I first visited jyousaien. We ate zenzai at there. There were a lot of appealing shops.Next, I walked around downtown. Because I wanted electronics, we went to best denki. I could look for good stuff.
Since went back house, I made dinner after so long.(89 words)

from December 30 to January 4

I went back my hometown this term.　I will talk about winter vacation.
On December 31st, I spent my time in my house. I watched foreign drama and MTV.I spend new years alone,because nobody stayed home. I was lonely. On New year day, got together my relatives. we talked a lot of things.We ate osechi and sushi. It was so good. After that, I and my sister received new years gifts of money. I was so glad, but parhaps I'll not able to get it year after next. At night, I hold new years party with my friends. We went to Izakaya, and stayed there for 4 hours. I had great new year day.Next day, I went to the sale,but I didn't buy anything. After go back home, I and my sister walked for a hour because we got fat. On January 3, I played with my best friend. We went to depart, and we ate lunch.After that, we went out to karaoke. I got rid of stress.
Then, I came back Kumamoto on January 4th. I can relax in hometown.(181 words)

December 26

I had part time job from 11a.m. to 4p.m. It was slow that day, so I could go back home. After I arrived at home, I walked near my house 40 minutes for my diet. I always get fat during New year's holiday, so I started to walk as far as possible. Then, I cooked supper. I made stuffed cabbage. Because I made it with recipe book, I cooked it well. I want to be good at cooking. I set out to cook without looking at recipe book.(88 words)

December 25th

I took place Christmas party with my sister and her friends. We cooked nabe. I and my sister's friends first met at there, so I got nervous. But they were kind, I can be got used to the occassion. I watched drama, talked about job, relationship. Because they are older than me, I learned lots of things. After that, we played TV game biohazard. I first saw the game. I was shocked by the game. Because there were a lot of zombie. I thought that I am not good at such a game. However, I had a good time. It was three times for me to spend christmas in Kumamoto.(111 words)
